@EpiphonezZ which hand!! its a double handed game. dont listen to this muppet. my 10 year old will out hit him. christ sake get you camcorder out and teach yourself. what you going to do on a course? ask someone EVERYTIME you address?

  • durs6 said:

@jlubingolf then tell him to rotate the club 20 mm then. jesus you golf gurus think your special. it aint hard. whats hard is telling the bullshit players advice from a coaches advice. if you dont earn cash dont be flash. can you hit a drive either hand 300 yds? then you aint no good…….

  • durs6 said:

jesus unless your a cripple. how can this movement NOT be a natural movement… its like listening to kindergarten.. people just remember 1 thing. find your natural swing and then adjust. your trying to copy someone who doesnt resemble your body at all.. so why copy him? do you see 5″4 people copying micheal jordan? why? coz his angles in body alignment are totally different. just get a bag of clay and keep hitting it till you find YOUR straight shot. just hit the damm ball

With wich hand are you going to close the club face at impact ?

  • andrianc3g said:

@durs6 I’m merely quoting Hogan’s book, lesson 4 in his Five Lessons book, read it and reference that. Insults are for grade school kids.

  • greg0422 said:

@durs6 earnt? lol who’s the retard exactly?

  • durs6 said:

@andrianc3g GOLF IS A LEFT HANDED GAME YOU MUPPET… right hand is for stability…… whats the greater force? pulling or pushing.? figure this out and your golf may get better!!!!!

  • durs6 said:

@greglin0422 muppet i earnt in my career, exactly £859,048 playing golf. retard

  • andrianc3g said:

This is a great nugget of info, provided that it follows a series of “correct” sequences, ie leg/hip, torso, shoulders, arms => blammo. I like Hogan’s take on this, ie right hand power and left hand stability. But, people are right in stating, this isn’t necessarily the silver bullet for slicing. I was a controlled ‘fader’, stuck @ 10 handicap until I sequence this move correctly, making things much easier!

  • izzy0210 said:

    shouldnt the release go automatic?

  • Polus24 said:

He IS teaching to square the clubface at the top. The only way for it to be square at the top is to rotate it so the clubface is facing the same direction as the players face. If there was no rotation, the face would be extremely closed at the top.

  • jlubingolf said:

How about the golfer who has the clubface square at top and opens it thru impact to help the ball into the air.
Try to be more open minded !

  • shortgamebull said:

how bout getting people square at the top so they dont have to flip it closed thru impact-how can u guys still teach this where the clubface stays square for a nanosecond-crazy stuff no wonder golfers arent improving

  • strataone said:

I went from an 18 to a 4 handicap in a year and a half. I did it emulating my pro at my home course. You might of heard of Ben Hogan. He did that in the early stages as well. And I can guarantee you he was a much better golfer than you.

  • fingersmcoy said:

are you retarded? because you sure act like you are.

  • sulakleo said:

check out …HITMANHAWKY… vid on grip and release.. MUST SEE…you can skip the first 2 minutes to get to the good stuff..best on the tube

  • greglin0422 said:

@durs what a dork you are. Even people who are “born with it” practice 80 hours a week. The goal isn’t to become a golf pro it’s to improve your game. Idiot.

  • juicyfruitzy said:

@durs6…I agree with you to an extent that some have it.But those who don’t unfortunately are constantly getting bad instruction, learning from folks who don’t understand the fundamentals of the swing. The vid explained what 90% of amateurs do and it is not a quick fix.I believe that this video should be viewed as many times as possible.Usage of the tee is an excellent way to see if you are doing it right. You need to do some soul searching & figure out the source of ur negativity. Bruised ego?

  • theaspirationgroup said:

Releasing the clubface will certainly minimize slice as clubface position is the primary influence of direction. I think this is a quick fix and should be thought of if your ball is consistantly curving and finishing well to the right of target. However, I think that swing path needs to be given some thought at this stage. It’s because their path is out-to-in that the golfer has taught themselves not to release the club in the first place.

  • durs6 said:

wrong…. pull with your left cock wrist lift arm release the head at the TOP.. turn hip (to straighten head) flick toe over. AINT HARD PEOPLE

  • durs6 said:

what makes you think i wasnt ? made my cash..

  • senorchipotle said:

so, why are you not a professional athlete?

  • durs6 said:

this is so crap just watch dalton mcreary teach golf its easy. i hit 348 yds 80% with 14% slice 16 yds variance and 6% hook. 20 yds. i play scratch and win a lot of comps. i also hit a tennis serve at 129 mph. your either born with it or your not, + plus 30 years practising. learn your limitations and be happy playing crap. the worst thing to do is to watch pro golfers and try to emulate them. when really your playing like a 12 year old girl. ( not even a pro one) EGOS MAN.

  • Flusher77 said:

Wrists only hinge up and down in a golf swing. And this hinge is not a conscious move either. This so called clubface release will promote inconsistent ball striking typical of handsy players.
